why are we called two-twenty??

We are two-twenty based on the Higher Power!!

The appliances in our homes (for the most part) all run on electricity right?
Most of our "things" that we plug into the wall are regular plugs that require 110 volts to operate. However, there are major appliances that require more power. "220 volts" This is the kind of power that we desire here at two-twenty youth.
We want all of God's power... and He will give it to us.

" Live Life With Power"

Our purpose is to see lives changed one at a time and then planted deeply in His Word and that will cause contagious passion to see friends saved.

Our key verse is from Micah 3:8
" But as for me, I am filled with power, with the Spirit of the LORD , and with justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, to Israel his sin."

Micah's faith was being challenged as he stood strong with God's help. We at two-twenty will strive to see young people stand up with strength in their generation. "Live Life With Power" is our declaration!

two-twenty = 220 VOLTS = THE HIGHER POWER!!

t - ogether we will see souls saved
w - orship Him and seek to know Him passionately
o -pen your life to wherever God wants to take you

two-twenty youth ministries is dedicated to seeing a few things happen in their lives...

1. They will have fun with us! Serving God is not boring, and we will have a good time doing it together.

2. They will be challenged. We are called to be set apart.

3. They will be encouraged to rely on each other through relationships that last. So many of our students lack positive relationships. At two-twenty you will be given the opportunity to grow and maintain relationships.

two-twenty Youth Service Wednesday Nights @ 7:00 pm

This is a time when we come together to worship the Lord, have fellowship together and seek God's Word. There are challenging messages, dynamic worship, and great fellowship. Every service is unique and there is always something spontaneous and crazy happening.

Sunday School

We meet every Sunday morning from 9:30 -10:30. Yes, it's early, but it's a fantastic way to learn about our Lord and what He has done, and is doing, for each one of us!!
Come check us out.

Bible Quiz

Quizzers cover a different portion of the New Testament (New International Version) each season. The theme rotates every eight years and includes three of the four Gospels, the book of Acts, and various groups of the Epistles. Bible Quiz requires more than just the ability to recite Scripture. Players must also learn people and places mentioned and become familiar with exclamations, questions, parenthetical statements, Old Testament passages, and more.
Competition usually starts in October or early November. The season ends with district playoffs—which determine the teams who will move on to one of eight regional tournaments. Five teams from each region advance to the annual Bible Quiz National Finals.
Teens in grades seven through twelve who attend an Assemblies of God church may participate in Bible Quiz. (Some districts allow 6th graders.) Each team may have up to six members.
